The Heart Hospital provides a clinically comprehensive cardiovascular center at the Wyoming Valley Hospital. The hospital will provide the community access to invasive procedures such as cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology. The project also includes OR-ready procedure rooms. These new rooms will also allow for expanded surgical services for cardiothorasic surgery. A non-invasive cardiology program complements the surgical services providing echo cardiology, EKG / stress testing, nuclear cardiology, cardiac rehabilitation, physician medical practice clinics and cardiac step-down recovery unit.
