The project entails a 60-Bed Inpatient Behavioral Health new building addition at the current Horsham Clinic. The Horsham Clinic is located on a 50 acre farm in what was once rural Pennsylvania. The existing facilities consisted of the “Manor House,” containing administration and food service, plus several out-service buildings which housed inpatients, as well as accommodated recreational and outpatient functions. This project tied three of these buildings together and provided an additional 60 inpatient beds. The building is designed with three wings, separated by swing bedrooms which allow the Clinic to create 16 to 24 bed units and to tie these units together into larger units. Each inpatient unit has its own therapy, noisy and quiet activity, and dining spaces.
