St. Agnes Medical Center, a part of the Trinity Health system, engaged FCA to undertake a Master Plan for their campus as well as several outpatient centers where they leased properties. The FCA team, partnered with Akol Architects, M+NLB Engineers and Thornton Tomasetti structural engineers reviewed their strategic plan and identified multiple Key Initiatives for the campus to accommodate their growing volumes and multiple leased properties. The 436 bed hospital has a strong reputation for its delivery of quality, compassionate care.
The hospitals growing need for emergency care, beyond the urgent care centers being developed in the community, a private room initiative, surgical capacity, and medical office space to support their growing highly clinical programs.
The FCA/Akol team developed the master plan for the short, mid and long term development of the campus and to create a bed tower that would accommodate private rooms, expand their emergency Department and create a Medical office building that would allow complex care on campus in an outpatient setting and eliminate multiple leased properties.
