FCA was engaged to design the HuffingtonPost east coast Digital Live Studio which supports their online platform through a studio, stage, technical rooms with an aggressive schedule to meet a specific ‘go live’ deadline. Particular focus was spent coordinating the specialty equipment requirements with the confined space allotted for the studio and the desire for the studio to have glass walls for audience to see the newsroom activity beyond. Due to the nature of news writing, this zone was delivered with no downtime and no interruption to staff.
In addition, FCA was asked to design three green rooms for the studio team. It was important that each room had its own personality and evoked a playful atmosphere for special guests to lounge and prepare for their appearance on HuffPost Live or any of AOL’s networks.
